Roger D. Peck (August 19th, 2017)
Roger D. Peck, 73, of Mexico died, Saturday, August 19, 2017 at his home. He was born in Oneida, the son of the late Donald and Gladys Stanford Peck. He was a retired Mechanic, working for National Grid. He was a Navy Veteran. He was a member of the Lycoming Methodist Church. Roger served 12 years as a Councilman for the Town of New Haven and later was the Highway Superintendent for the Town of New Haven. He was a member of the New Haven Volunteer Fire Department, a life member of the VFW and the NRA and a Mason for 35 years. He was a member of Shirts and Skirts in Fulton and the North American Hunting Club. He was pre-deceased by his first wife, Charlotte Peck, on April 20, 2008.

Roger is survived by, his wife, Dawn Peck (Smith); his children and grandchildren, Barbara Anderson, of New Haven, her daughter, Elizabeth Anderson, Robert Hillman, of New Haven, his children, Amanda Ladd and Samantha Hillman, Karen (Thomas) Culeton, of Oswego, her daughter, Kathryn Monk, Randy (Nadine) Loran, of Reddington, WA, and Christian Snyder of Mexico; along with, his two sisters, Elaine (Jerry) Howe, of Phoenix, AZ and

Susan (Lawrence) Lee, of Oswego; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 4 p.m. Friday, August, 25, 2017, from the Lycoming United Methodist Church, with the Reverend Brandon Greco officiating. Burial will be in the Hillside Cemetery in Scriba. Calling hours will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday, August 24, 2017 from the Harter Funeral Home, 9 Washington Avenue, Mexico, NY.
