Robert was a construction worker and was a member of the Upstate New York Laborer’s Union. He worked on several major construction sites such as, the St. Lawrence Seaway in Massena, New York; the Robert Moses Hydroelectric Power Plant in Niagara Falls, New York; the Black Butte Dam in Orland, California; and Nine Mile Point in Oswego, New York.
Robert was a very hard worker, and in his spare time he enjoyed raising his Arabian show horses, listening to music, working in the yard, and exercising.
Friends and family members may attend calling hours on Saturday, April 28, from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. at the Harter Funeral Home, 9 Washington Avenue, Mexico, New York 13114. A funeral service will follow, officiated by Reverend Frank Thomas, at 3:00 p.m. at the Harter Funeral Home. A memorial service will be held on Friday, May 4, at 6:00 p.m. at the Crystal River Four Square Church in Crystal River, Florida.
