Frances L. (Nipper) Morton (June 14th, 2017)
Frances L. (Nipper) Morton, 76, of Oswego, died Wednesday at the Oswego Hospital. She was born in Fulton, the daughter of the late Ralph and Bessie Barclay Nipper. She was a graduate of the Rochester School for the Deaf and a member of the Oswego County Association of the Deaf. Frances loved to spend time with her children, grandchildren, puppies and cats. She loved Syracuse University basketball and was an avid bowler. She was pre-deceased by, her brother, William Nipper.
Frances is survived by, her husband of 44 years, Richard N. Morton; her two sons, Melvin (Jill) Johnson, of Richland and Tate Morton, of Mallory; her daughter, Monica Johnson, of Oswego; eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; along with her best friend of 70 years, Susan Bleck.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, June 20, 2017 from
the Harter Funeral Home, 9 Washington Avenue, Mexico NY. Burial will be in the Mexico Village Cemetery. Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday, June 19, 2017 at the funeral home.
