Eric John Stevens (November 20th, 2016)
In loving memory of Eric John Stevens, 30 of Mexico, who was taken from us too soon on November 20, 2016 from injuries sustained in a vehicular accident, while working for the US Postal Service. Born December 13, 1985 in Syracuse, NY. Since a young child through his adult life Eric was an active member of his community. He spent his younger years with Boy Scout Troop 760 of Palermo, NY achieving the rank of Eagle Scout. As an adult he volunteered his time to the Mexico Cub Scout Pack as Cub Master and Den leader. He spent eight years working summers at Sabittis Boy Scout Camp holding several positions. During his teenage years he was a junior member of the Palermo Fire Department. He was an active member of the Mexico Zoning Board. During his short time on this earth he touched many people’s lives with his infections smile, sense of humor and generous heart. He was a loving husband, father, son and brother. He is survived by wife, Ashley (Benjamin); son, Rowen; step-son, Damien King; mother Kimberly (David)Shaw of Brewerton; father Patrick (Cheryl)Stevens of Altmar; sister Erin (Ryan)Stevens of Fulton; step siblings Brandon, Kevin, Lauren, Samantha, Ashley and Ryan; along with several aunts, uncles and cousins. He was predeceased by grandparents, John and Marion Stevens, and Donald Stevens; aunts Linda and Shelia Stevens.

Friends are invited to attend services which will be held on Saturday November 26, 2016 at 1p.m. at St. Ann Mother of Mary Catholic Church, Main St. Mexico, NY. Calling hours will be held from 10am-12:30pm at Harter Funeral Home, 9 Washington Avenue, Mexico, NY. Burial will be in the Pleasant Lawn Cemetery, Parish, NY.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Stevens Children Education Fund at any Pathfinder Bank Branch.
