Carol M. Champion (July 2nd, 2018)
Carol M. Champion, 77, of Mexico, died Monday, July 2, 2018 at Seneca Hill Manor. She was born in Syracuse, NY, the daughter of the late Edward and Helen Vanderberg LeFever. Carol was a Cook at Emerald Crest Golf Course in Palermo, NY. She was an avid bowler, golfer and fisherman. She was a life member of the Mexico VFW Post #369. She was pre-deceased by her husband, Charles, in 1988.

Carol is survived by, her two daughters, Cheryl (Kerry) Henderson and Colleen (David) Zielinski; grandchildren, Kristina (Keith) Irick and Josh (Tonya) Zielinski; great-grandchildren, Keith Claridge, McKayla Pope and Bentley Zielinski; her siblings, Patricia (William) Carson, David (Carol) LeFever, Steven LeFever, Charles (Colleen) LeFever, Michael (Mary) LeFever; several nieces and nephews; and her Step-Children, Charles Champion, Deb Strablo and Val Wilkins.

Funeral services will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday, July 5, 2018 from the Harter Funeral Home, 9 Washington Avenue, Mexico NY. Friends and family are invited to call from 5 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home prior to the service.
